New Relationships: Where No One’s Gone Before

Well, you met someone new and you’re wondering if she or he just might be the one? First, what make you think that? Second, how do you feel you want to approach it?

True, romantic relationships aren’t based on analytical thinking as much as chemistry and emotion bonding. But a certain degree of assessment is important in developing any seccussful new relationship. Believe me, it’s a necessary and even desireable thing to consider, especially if this new ‘someone’ is really worth it.

So, why do you think this new person might be “the one”? What is it that you really want in a realationship? What kind of person do you really want to give your heart to? After all, your heart is the most valuable part of who you are, so the other person has to be the right person. More importantly, you have to know what kind of person that should be.

Let’s not forget, too, on how you should proceed in a new relationship with this person. Old ways obviously won’t work, since the old girlfriend or boyfriend was an entirely different person. Kicking it at a footgame with ol’ Billy Bob is obviously not the same thing as attending an upscale art exhibition with Dapper Dan. Appeal to the other person’s character. Show that person that you notice and appreciate her or him.

In the end, any new relationship relies on both chemistry and reasonable thought. Such relationships need a balance. The two points above are essential in any and every successful relationship. Learn from what you did before and do things differently. Don’t be afraid to go where you’ve never gone before.Your happiness with this new someone may depend on it!
